We are seeking a passionate, Christ centered part-time Band Teacher to lead our middle/high school’s instrumental music program. This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who loves students, loves music, and desires to integrate faith into daily teaching. (This position has the option of being full-time when combined with the part-time vocal music teacher position)

The Band Teacher will:

• Teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced band classes
• Direct ensembles, including concert band, pep band, jazz band, and possibly marching band
• Foster musical excellence while nurturing students’ spiritual growth
• Collaborate with faculty to support a vibrant, Christ honoring school culture
• Organize performances, concerts, and community events

A strong candidate will have:

• Strong instrumental music background
• Teaching certification (or willingness to pursue)
• Ability to inspire students of varying skill levels
• A South Dakota teaching certificate or be capable of securing one

The Vocal Music Teacher will:

• Teach vocal music to students across grade levels
• Direct choirs, ensembles, and performances

Our Christian school is seeking a dedicated Information Learning Center Aid who feels called to lead students, staff, and families with wisdom, compassion, and a Christ centered vision. Learning Center Aid will: 

• Support students by delivering individualized and small-group instruction in core subjects. 
• Assist students with assignments, study skills, and organizational strategies. 
• Help maintain a calm, organized, and engaging learning environment 
• Provide encouragement and prayer support to students as needed. 
• Proctor exams and ensure academic integrity. 
• Teach summer school.  (optional) 

A strong candidate has:

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of varying abilities and learning styles. 
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Prior experience in an educational or tutoring setting is a plus. 

RC Christian is seeking a part-time Spanish teacher to teach three classes – (2) Spanish I and (1) Spanish 2. A strong candidate is a committed follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for ministry and discipleship.  

• Teach part-time Spanish classes with excellence from a biblical worldview
• Prepare engaging lessons that develop students’ speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages respect, responsibility, and a love of learning
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback for continued growth
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Support the mission and culture of RCCS through Christ-centered teaching and leadership
• Maintain appropriate classroom management and organization
• Collaborate with faculty and administration as part of the school community
