Established in 1981, RCCS is an independent, coeducational day school enrolling qualified students in grades six through twelve.

Our mission is to equip children of Christian families with a sound liberal arts education framed within a biblical understanding of God and his creation, and to help nurture them in an active commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We base our entire educational program on the simple but profound conviction that nothing in creation can be properly examined or understood apart from an acknowledgement of the Creator’s hand in it; that faith and learning are inseparable.

As we forge ahead into the new millennium, we’re encouraged to see God spreading this educational philosophy throughout the Black Hills region.

Rapid City Christian School is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International
and is accredited by the South Dakota Department of Education.
