Tuition Assistance Scholarships
If you’re not sure you can afford Christ-centered education for your children, please get acquainted with our Tuition Assistance Scholarship (TAS) program before making any long-term decision.
Purpose of the program and source of funding
The RCCS Tuition Assistance Scholarship program is funded by generous contributors who believe in making the benefits of a Christian education available to deserving families otherwise unable to provide it for their children. Contributors include a number of individuals, businesses, churches, and charitable foundations.
Determining financial need
Applicants for tuition assistance must:
 | submit an application and undergo an independent analysis by Family Financial Need Assessment (FFNA). |
| prove there is a genuine need for assistance. |
| possess a 2.5 GPA or better from the previous academic semester. |
| be students with a clear Christian testimony—an evident life of faith—recognized by the RCCS faculty and administration. |
| exhibit conduct that demonstrates a spirit of cooperation with the school’s policies. |
The RCCS Tuition Assistance Committee analyzes these parameters and establishes a need ranking of all applicants.
Financial aid may be discontinued if:
| the family fails to keep tuition payments current. |
| the student fails to maintain a 2.5 GPA or better. |
| the student fails to meet the school’s attendance standards. |
| the student’s conduct results in serious disciplinary action. |
Extent of aid
The amount of aid is based on need. No family receives more than a 50% grant. The Tuition Assistance Committee makes these allocations based on available funds as determined by the RCCS Board of Trustees annually.
Deadlines
Eligibility for TAS-based financial aid requires meeting important deadlines. Please contact the school office (see below) for information about the TAS timetable.
