Tuition Assistance Scholarship
The RCCS Tuition Assistance Scholarship program is funded by generous contributors who believe in making the benefits of a Christian education available to deserving families otherwise unable to provide it for their children. Contributors include a number of individuals, businesses, churches, and charitable foundations. Determining EligibilityApplicants for tuition assistance must:
The RCCS Tuition Assistance Committee (TAC) analyzes these parameters and establishes a need-ranking of all applicants. The Committee will have the final say on providing aid. Application Process and DeadlinesApplications for assistance can only be submitted after students have been accepted by RCCS. To apply, please visit the FAST website. Funds are limited so applications will be approved based on the date that the application is fully completed. In order to receive tuition assistance for the full year, the application must be fully completed by September 1. Any application completed after that, if approved, will be awarded for the remainder of the year. FAST charges a $36 application fee. Extent of AidThe amount of aid awarded is based on need. For the school year, each family could receive a grant up to 50% of RCCS tuition for students attending RCCS. The Tuition Assistance Committee makes allocations based on available funds as determined by the RCCS Board of Trustees annually. When calculating the potential assistance for a family, RCCS will take into consideration the tuition paid to accredited and approved Christian schools for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Currently, the approved schools are Calvary Christian School, Open Bible Christian School, and Zion Lutheran School. If a parent wants a different Christian school approved, they must make a written request to the TAS Fund committee. The TAS Fund committee will determine its eligibility.
Parents applying for assistance that include Christian elementary school tuition must prove that their children will be attended the school by submitting a copy of their registration or acceptance form from the elementary school to the RCCS school office.
