Fine Arts

For a small school in western South Dakota, RCCS makes quite a showing in the fine arts. Instrumentalists participate in beginner band, intermediate band, and concert band. Vocalists sing in our Concert Chorus, the only small school choir to consistently earn first division ratings at the SDHSAA Region VIII music contest.

Budding thespians take the stage for a school play once each year, and those with the pluck to win an audition often land roles in community productions as well. We also offer an elective art course for students interested in drawing, painting, and sculpture.
