Where is RCCS located?
In 2007, Rapid City Christian School moved to our new Hart Ranch campus, 23757 Arena Drive.
Does RCCS provide busing to the school?
No. Many families carpool. We provide a carpool map to help connect you to other RCCS families in your area. Many high school students drive to school.
How much is tuition?
On the ten-month payment plan, monthly tuition for 6th/7th graders is currently $335, $420 for 8th graders, and $560 for high school students (2012-2013 rates).
Is financial aid available?
Yes. Tuition Assistance Scholarships for qualified families can provide up to 50% of tuition. Full-time pastors receive an automatic 25% tuition discount for their children.
What sports are offered at RCCS?
Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball, Golf, Track, and Cheerleading.
What other extra-curricular activities are offered at RCCS?
Middle and High School Choir, Marching Band, Dordt Choir Trip, Oral Interp., Drama, One-Act Play, School Play, Student Council, Region VIII Solo Ensemble and Large Group competitions, Knowledge Bowl, West River Math and Science Contest, and Chadron Academic Scholastic Competition.
Is RCCS accredited?
Rapid City Christian School is accredited by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International), NCA-CASI (North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement), and the SD Department of Education.
How do RCCS students compare academically with public school students?
The average ACT scores earned by RCCS students are higher than state and national averages. RCCS students will be well prepared for college. Last year, RCCS graduates attending SD universities were rated #3 for highest GPA in the state.
